Sameena has been the main anchor for ITV News Central in the Midlands since 2005 and she also presents the ITN national news bulletins.
Her presenting style is warm, intelligent and authoritative and she has won numerous awards during her broadcasting career including three RTS Best Onscreen Personality awards and two RTS National News Programme awards.
She has two children, loves cooking, travelling and music. She was a patron for Breaking the Silence, a domestic abuse charity, and a Judge for Pride of Birmingham and she regularly speaks at colleges to the next generation of broadcasters.
