Jane Wigmore has served with Avon and Somerset Police since 2002, building experience across investigative and leadership roles. She has worked predominantly in CID, specifically covert policing, serious and organised crime, and major crime, as well as serving in Patrol. Jane has held national and regional positions, including seconded to HMICFRS on PEEL in the Eastern region and Staff Officer to the NPCC Domestic Abuse Lead. She later became Head of the Professional Standards Department and now serves as Head of Crime, overseeing strategic delivery and investigative standards across the organisation.
