I am Clare Wood's aunt. Following her brutal murder in 2009, my late brother, Michael Brown, campaigned to have the law changed now known as Clare's Law. Since his passing in 2020, I have been actively raising awareness at every opportunity to build on his legacy. Most recently I have been focused on the timeliness re processing time of disclosure applications and have engaged with several police forces to that end. My mission is to have a standardised system implemented using AI to speed up the disclosure process and ultimately save lives.
