Professor Emma Williams joined Anglia Ruskin University in 2024 after serving as Academic Director for CPRL at the Open University. Her career includes roles at the Metropolitan Police, Ministry of Justice, and Canterbury Christ Church University. She has led significant research on policing, particularly in investigating rape, professionalisation and officer wellbeing. Emma was the Pillar 4 lead for Operation Soteria and Bright Light.
