Lisa Squire is a national campaigner for women’s safety and the mother of Libby Squire, who in 2019 was raped and murdered by a sexual predator who had an extensive history of non-contact sexual offending. Following Libby’s death, Lisa has dedicated herself to raising awareness of violence against women and girls, focussing on the importance of reporting non-contact offences and why these offences should be regarded as red flags. Lisa advocates for stronger protections, better public safety measures and improved support for victims. Lisa addresses police forces, local authorities, national organisations, universities and schools helping them understand how policy, practice and culture affect women’s safety.
