T/DCI Vescovi was the Deputy SIO on Op Garrison, the investigation following the death of Kiena Dawes, where charges were brought against the defendant for Unlawful Act Manslaughter, Coercive & Controlling Behaviour and assault following Kiena’s death by Suicide in July 2022. This case was the first of its kind to go to Trial at Preston Crown Court in November 2024.
