Our Day Two will open by asking us to think bigger and broader about data and the voice of survivors within it. We often describe ourselves as data rich but insight poor – nowhere is this truer than in VAWG. Data is everywhere, but it sits in silos, tied to different systems, different organisations and rarely crosses boundaries. Victim experiences of harm don’t fall into simple categories, and neither must our response

9:30 AM - 10:30 AM

For women and girls, safety – or lack of it – is felt locally, every day on the streets, in homes, on public transport, in schools and online. A Chief Constable, the NPCC Programme Lead for the Neighbourhood Policing Guarantee, a MP and a powerful voice from a victim’s family will come together to explore the neighbourhood and partnership response to VAWG, combining national intent with local place-based delivery.
